New functionality to Safetynet Online System

We have now added the ability to create sub folders within your Online Safety Management System.

Dear Safetynet Customer,

I write this to bring to your attention some enhancements we have made and will be making to the Online Safety Management System (OSMS) over the coming days and weeks.

We are continually trying to enhance the service and products we supply whilst at the same time trying our best to respond to customer feedback and suggestions.
With this in mind we have added the following feature.

Sub Folders:

This enables you to create a folder within a folder, for example, if you log all staff training you will be able to have 1 main Training Folder, but create unlimited sub folders within for staff, whereby you can log all training courses with review dates for refresher training for each individual member & course.

Another example would be a to have a main Risk Assessment folder, but then create sub folders for DSE, Manual Handling, COSHH or various departments/sites etc, again with the ability to have review dates for each individual issues within each folder.

How to create sub folders:

This is done in the same way that you create a normal folder by clicking the “add folder” button down the left-hand side of the page, and then add folder again when in the screen which lists your current main folders.

You will notice that now there is a box called “parent folder” if you wish to create a sub folder, then this must be set to the main folder you wish to create a sub folder within, you can do this by clicking the drop down menu, then simply type in the name of the sub folder above and then click “add folder”

YOU WILL NEED TO REFRESH THE PAGE BY CLICKING ON ANY FOLDER TO SEE YOUR NEW ADDITIONS.

However if you wish to just create a “main” folder then simply set the parent folder box to “none” and type in the name of your new folder.

Future Developments.

Very shortly we will be introducing a search facility, this will enable you to search the database, the fields that will be searched are:

• Subject – Description – Issue - Resolution

Help & Support
